Reading the site
Nothing on the site asks who you are before you read it. The site uses no analytics, no advertising networks and no tracking cookies. Our host keeps a short technical log of requests, including the time and the address they came from, to protect the site from misuse.
What the forms ask for
The contact form asks for your name, email address, an optional topic, your message and, only if you want texts, your mobile number. The reminders form asks for your name, email address, the topic you chose and, only if you want texts, your mobile number. As evidence of consent we also store when the form was sent, from which page, your IP address and your browser.
Please keep health records, insurance numbers and payment details out of every form. We never ask for them.
Why we use it
Your details are used to answer you, to send the reminders and notes you asked for and to keep proof of the consent you gave, and for nothing else.
Mobile numbers and text consent
Your mobile information will not be shared with any third party for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
To end the texts, reply STOP to any of them. The SMS terms explain the program in full.
How long it is kept
We hold your details for as long as you are signed up or writing to us, and erase them within thirty days of being asked. Records showing when you opted in or out are kept for as long as we may need to produce them.
Your rights
Write or call to find out what we hold about you, to correct it or to have it erased. We respond within thirty days, and we respect any additional rights your state gives you.
Keeping it safe
Forms travel over an encrypted connection and are stored where few people can reach them. No system is entirely secure, which is one reason we ask for so little.
Children
Our forms are for people aged 18 and over. Details we discover came from someone younger are deleted.
Changes to this policy
A new version of this policy carries a new date above. Where an update touches details you gave us earlier, you hear about it from us first.
